Rels i Records és un projecte que uneix dues figures destacades de les Illes Balears: la soprano Laura de la Fuente i el pianista i compositor Llorenç Prats, recentment guardonats amb el primer premi al concurs internacional "Elsa Respighi" a Verona. Aquesta proposta combina obres de gran riquesa musical dels segles XIX, XX i XXI, explorant les connexions entre la tradició popular i la música contemporània.

El projecte pren com a fil conductor les arrels culturals i musicals de la Mediterrània, presents en les influències populars, poètiques i musicals que inspiren el repertori. La selecció del programa estableix un diàleg entre tradició i modernitat, oferint una experiència única que connecta amb un ampli ventall d’emocions i paisatges sonors. El repertori inclou composicions de Salvador Brotons, Xavier Montsalvatge, Giuseppe Martucci i Luciano Berio, a més d’una nova obra creada especialment per aquest projecte per Llorenç Prats, que actua com un vincle conceptual entre les peces seleccionades. La nova composició de Llorenç Prats per al projecte Arrels i Records explora un llenguatge innovador que fusiona estructures musicals modernes amb motius melòdics inspirats en la tradició musical mediterrània.

El concert inclou breus explicacions abans de cada obra, oferint al públic una introducció als elements culturals i artístics que configuren el programa. Aquest enfocament immersiu enriqueix l'experiència i facilita una connexió emocional profunda amb la proposta.

Rels i Records is a project that brings together two prominent figures from the Balearic Islands: soprano Laura de la Fuente and pianist and composer Llorenç Prats, recently awarded first prize at the international "Elsa Respighi" competition in Verona. This proposal combines works of great musical richness from the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries, exploring the connections between popular tradition and contemporary music.

The project is anchored in the cultural and musical roots of the Mediterranean, reflected in the popular, poetic, and musical influences that inspire the repertoire. The selection of the program establishes a dialogue between tradition and modernity, offering a unique experience that connects with a wide range of emotions and soundscapes. The repertoire includes compositions by Salvador Brotons, Xavier Montsalvatge, Giuseppe Martucci, and Luciano Berio, along with a new work created especially for this project by Llorenç Prats, which serves as a conceptual link between the selected pieces. The new composition by Llorenç Prats for Rels i Records explores an innovative language that merges modern musical structures with melodic motifs inspired by Mediterranean musical traditions.
